Field Service Technician (Installations)

Location: Edinburgh Region, United Kingdom; on the road and at customer sites

Salary: £17 per hour

Develops retail AI solutions using deep-learning computer vision and shelf-mounted cameras to automate and optimize brick-and-mortar retail operations.

What you will do

• Install, mount, connect, and configure camera hardware according to company standards.
• Complete overnight customer-site installations and support successful system deployment and adoption.
• Onboard and scan products into the system while maintaining accurate records of work, parts, and time.
• Use power tools and installation equipment safely while following site safety protocols.
• Meet customer SLAs and speed and quality KPIs, resolving installation issues promptly.
• Communicate with supervisors, colleagues, and customers to coordinate visits and report progress or issues.

Requirements

• Previous field technician experience, preferably in field service, installation, construction, or a related field.
• Technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
• Proficiency with power tools and other installation equipment.
• Physical stamina to work on foot and perform demanding tasks for up to 9 hours.
• Full valid UK driving licence and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends.
