Operations Technician (Rugby)

Location: Must be within a commutable distance of the Basingstoke office, with a requirement for regular domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Install and rig camera systems and cabling for live match coverage.
• Operate video replay technology to support match officials and medical staff during live events.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Liaise with broadcasters, teams, and match officials to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Conduct detailed pre-match system checks and monitor performance throughout events.
• Maintain kit and equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

• Must be within a commutable distance of the Basingstoke office.
• Technical grounding with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for professional client interaction.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure live broadcast environments.
• Flexibility to work weekends and midweek evenings as required by the sports calendar.

• French language skills.
