Mortgage Loan Officer

Location: Greater Phoenix, AZ market; in-office position

What you will do

• Recommend mortgage loan solutions aligned with lending guidelines and customer requirements.
• Manage customer relationships, develop prospective opportunities, and conduct sales calls.
• Prepare loan solutions, refer relevant products and services, and review documentation for compliance.
• Manage the customer pipeline and coordinate mortgage transactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze financial information for multifaceted and complex borrowers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of mortgage products, banking products, loan origination, sales, and financial analysis.
• Strong customer relationship management, customer solution, communication, selling, and scheduling skills.
• Ability to focus on customer needs and manage risks in accordance with enterprise risk management requirements.
• A university or college degree with less than one year of professional experience and/or completion of a formal development program is typical; comparable education, certifications, or experience may be considered instead.
• Additional background checks may be required under applicable consumer financial protection regulations.
