Mortgage Loan Officer - Westlake, OH

What you will do

• Develop and expand internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage business.
• Advise clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products using consultative selling techniques.
• Support customers from approval through closing and work with loan origination sources to secure and verify underwriting information.
• Advise customers on completing loan applications and maintain ongoing client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of mortgage loan origination experience, preferably in a bank.
• NMLS license.
• Knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines.
• Must currently be authorized to work full-time in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, and PC/internet skills.

Nice to have

• Existing pipeline and book of business.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending, and portfolio mortgage programs.
