Summer 2027 Intern - Human Resources

Location: San Jose, California, USA; onsite at San Jose Great Oaks Headquarters

Salary: $18.75–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Own a real project within a specialized HR function such as Talent Acquisition, People Intelligence & Analytics, Compensation & Benefits, or Organizational Development.
• Use HR tools and analytics to analyze information and draw meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with professionals and teams across the HR organization.
• Participate in a structured learning curriculum and receive mentorship from HR leaders.
• Present a capstone project to WD leadership at the end of the program.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in building a career in Human Resources.
• Ability to analyze information, interpret data, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn HR systems and tools.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship, such as H-1B sponsorship.
• Available to work 40 hours per week for 12 consecutive weeks during Summer 2027.

Nice to have

• Exposure to HR systems or analytics tools such as Workday, SmartRecruiters, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Prior experience in HR, people analytics, organizational development, or project management.
