Member of Product Staff, Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Talk directly with customers to identify problems, form product opinions, and define bounded customer outcomes.
• Build AI agents that pursue recruiting objectives over multiple days, request human judgment when needed, and recover safely from model or tool failures.
• Turn interview and hiring-team conversations into understandable, correctable, and trustworthy actions.
• Design permissions, controls, recovery paths, interfaces, APIs, data models, and production behavior for customer workflows.
• Own outcomes from problem definition through implementation, rollout, production operation, and iteration.
• At broader scope, set technical direction, make architectural trade-offs, and raise decision quality while continuing to write code.

Requirements

• Experience shipping software for external users and owning a meaningful outcome through production.
• Depth in at least one technical area, with the ability to work across product, frontend, and backend boundaries.
• Ability to use AI coding agents heavily while independently designing, implementing, reviewing, and debugging software.
• Interest in direct customer contact, hands-on implementation, and responsibility after launch.
• Strong product judgment and willingness to change decisions based on evidence.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, AWS, Postgres, and S3 is useful but not required.
