Senior Product Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: New York City, hybrid

Salary: $157,000–$208,000 for Senior Product Engineer 1, $172,000–$228,000 for Senior Product Engineer 2, or $188,000–$248,000 for Staff Product Engineer 1, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and iterate on a learning management system with adaptive learning, peer engagement, gamification, and motivational features.
• Develop career services products, including generative AI tools for resume creation and interview training.
• Design and maintain platforms for instructors, teaching assistants, coaches, and operators.
• Build content management technology that supports scalable curriculum creation and iteration.
• Develop reliable data pipelines that enable data-driven decisions across learning, business, and operations teams.
• Own the full development lifecycle and collaborate on complex product and technical problems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript on the frontend.
• Familiarity with Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails for backend development.
• Ability to operate across the full development lifecycle and learn new technologies quickly.
• Interest in joining an early-stage company and building new products.
• Previous experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, especially in edtech or healthcare, is required.
