Senior Mendix Platform Engineer (Mendix)

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; hybrid setup with at least one office day per week. Candidates must be located in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work there.

Salary: €5,030–€7,183 gross per month for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve reusable Mendix modules, integrations, and platform services used across more than 50 applications.
• Automate Mendix deployments and develop pipelines, custom code, and platform automation with Azure DevOps.
• Bridge low-code development with enterprise infrastructure and improve compliant, secure delivery.
• Diagnose complex design-system and platform issues by tracing downstream impact across applications.
• Collaborate with product and application teams to improve platform capabilities, scalability, and developer experience.

Requirements

• University-level education in IT and relevant certifications.
• Strong oral communication skills in Dutch and English; English is the team language.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Background in IT development and web application concepts, including frontend, backend, and APIs/REST.
• Experience with Mendix, such as Menditect, QSM, Mendix SDK, or Mendix CLI.
• Experience with some relevant technologies, such as Java, JavaScript, CSS, widgets, React, DevOps/pipelines, Docker, AI, or CI/CD.
