Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; office-based 5 days per week. The role includes 40% travel across Europe, and applicants must have the right to live and work in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Run customer engagements as the technical bridge between the AI platform and enterprise finance departments.
• Analyze client datasets, identify patterns in Order-to-Cash processes, and design future-state architectures.
• Define KPIs and target metrics to demonstrate solution ROI and measurable financial value.
• Configure autonomous algorithms and data interfaces between the SaaS platform and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite.
• Lead client testing and training sessions, then drive go-live deployment and stabilization.
• Navigate ambiguity, align stakeholders, and maintain project momentum through changing requirements.

Requirements

• Graduating in 2025 or 2026 with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, MIS, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong data analysis skills and comfort designing and configuring AI agents.
• Excellent communication skills for working with Finance Managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
• Curiosity, grit, self-motivation, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to execution.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for project implementations.
• Right to live and work in the Netherlands is required.
