Field Service Team Lead (Installations, Retail AI)

Location: Sheffield Region, United Kingdom; on the road and at customer sites

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate Field Service Technicians during customer-site installations, allocating tasks and managing schedules.
• Mount, connect, configure, and onboard shelf-mounted camera hardware in line with company standards.
• Conduct site checks and briefings, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and act as the primary customer contact.
• Review and sign off completed installations, maintain accurate records, and ensure quality and speed KPIs are achieved.
• Operate power tools, enforce safety procedures, and support safe completion of physically demanding installation work.
• Train and mentor technicians while communicating progress and resolving issues with customers and supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous field technician experience in field service, installation, construction, or a related area, including experience leading or supervising others.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with power tools and installation equipment, plus strong attention to detail and physical stamina for work lasting up to 9 hours on foot.
• Full valid UK driving licence and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends at customer sites required.
