Field Service Supervisor - Western Michigan (Medical Diagnostics)

Location: Fully remote, with candidates expected to reside in Western or Central Michigan, United States. The role requires up to 50% domestic and occasional international travel, including overnight stays.

Annual salary: $110,000–$115,000, plus eligible bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead and manage a defined team of Field Service Engineers supporting the Great Lakes territory.
• Conduct weekly team calls covering customer issues, KPIs, and operational announcements.
• Oversee training, professional development, goals, objectives, and recruitment for the field service team.
• Coordinate customer service strategies with the assigned team and coordination center.
• Drive prompt issue resolution, first-time fixes, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Apply hirify.global Business System principles to identify and implement operational improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, or a master’s degree with 3+ years, or equivalent military experience.
• Relevant experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic, or related technical equipment.
• Residence in Western or Central Michigan is required for this remote role.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and lift, move, or place up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

Nice to have

• Previous Beckman Coulter Field Service Engineer experience.
• Supervisory management experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing medical laboratory instruments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
