Field Service Engineer (Biotechnology)

Location: Italy, preferably Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, or Tuscany; fully remote with 70% travel and overnight stays at customer sites

Salary: €35,100–€48,300 gross annual salary, plus target bonus of 12% of annual base salary

What you will do

• Represent the company when working with customers.
• Plan and execute equipment installation, qualification, preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities at customer sites.
• Manage personal stock and service work orders.
• Participate in sales opportunities and promote service contracts and revenue programs.

Requirements

• Degree in biomedical, electrical, computer, electronic, or automation engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least two years of experience in a similar field service position.
• Very good mechanical and electrical skills with proven troubleshooting experience.
• English is required.
• Ability to travel 70% of the time and stay overnight within the assigned territory.

Nice to have

• Experience in the biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Experience with Windows, PCs, servers, networks, and databases.
