Grid Operations Coordinator (Wind Energy)

Location: Germany; remote work exceeding 50%. Occasional travel within Canada and to Germany for up to six weeks per year.

What you will do

• Provide real-time technical support to maintenance and commissioning technicians working with high-voltage grid equipment at wind farms.
• Oversee operations involving transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and other HV equipment.
• Track intervention histories and provide equipment status reports.
• Draft, review, and validate work instructions and planned work procedures.
• Improve fault-resolution processes and alert management while ensuring compliance with technical service instructions.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous-improvement projects.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience maintaining and operating HV electrical grid equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to technicians, employees, and executives.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
