Project Engineering Manager (Power Generation)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; hybrid work flexibility with occasional travel to customer sites, project sites, and third parties for up to 20% of working time.

What you will do

• Lead all engineering disciplines for power island projects within the Gas Services business.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams covering electrical, plant layout, mechanical, civil, process, thermal, controls, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Coordinate design and scope reviews, technical concepts, customer specifications, engineering interfaces, and project requirements.
• Align sourcing and procurement strategies, engineering budgets, hardware cost estimates, and project cost calculations.
• Manage engineering-related risks, opportunities, schedules, documentation, and technical requirements throughout bid and execution phases.
• Coordinate internal reviews, quality gates, customer discussions, and the handover from proposal teams to execution teams.

Requirements

• University degree in mechanical, electrical, process engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in engineering related to power generation and EPC project business.
• At least 5 years of overall technical project management experience.
• Experience managing interfaces with bid management and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of engineering interfaces and at least one engineering discipline, with the ability to coordinate information exchange across disciplines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with power plants, power plant equipment, site activities, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of German and Spanish or French.
