Intern - Engineering, Interconnection & Grid Analysis Administration

Location: Taylor, TX, United States; on-site at least 2 days per week

What you will do

• Complete technical assignments and projects addressing real challenges in the electric industry.
• Support work in Large Generation Integration, Operations Stability Support, Dynamic Studies System Planning, or Dynamic Studies Interconnection.
• Develop software and analytical solutions for interconnection and grid analysis.
• Work alongside hirify.global engineers and participate in collaborative technical projects.

Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related power systems field.
• Enrolled in an academic bachelor's or postgraduate degree program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience building software or coding in C#, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with database querying using SQL.
• Experience with power systems analysis.
• Must be able to work on-site in Taylor, TX at least 2 days per week, or more as required by business needs.
