Electrical Engineer (HVACR)

Location: Overath, Germany; hybrid setup with three days in the office and two days from home.

What you will do

• Create electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN.
• Manage customer electrical equipment projects and deliver technical control designs.
• Provide technical support for the Vilter PLC controls platform.
• Support electrical system improvements, product standards, and work-standard development.
• Act as a subject matter expert, troubleshoot customer issues, and provide product training.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, piping drawings, and instrumentation diagrams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical controls and design.
• Knowledge of IEC standards for low-voltage industrial power and control panels.
• Strong understanding of electrical controls, logic, power and motor control circuits, motors, motor starters, and VFDs.
• In-depth experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN engineering tools.
• Proficiency in English and legal authorization to work in Germany; visa sponsorship or work authorization will not be provided.

Nice to have

• Electrical design experience with industrial compressors, refrigeration systems, or heat pumps.
• PLC programming experience.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
