Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) - Louisville, KY (#2)

Location: Louisville, Kentucky metro area, including Louisville, Jeffersonville, Shively, Jeffersontown, and surrounding areas

Salary: $24.25–$28.25 USD per hour

What you will do

• Travel to customers’ homes to maintain and repair LG appliances, TVs, and A/C units.
• Diagnose technical issues and perform specialized repairs on electronics and major appliances.
• Assess problems, document findings, decide whether to repair products or replace parts, and process service paperwork.
• Pre-screen upcoming service calls to gather diagnostic information before visits.
• Use company-provided safety equipment, vehicles, diagnostic tools, and inventory systems.
• Meet customer satisfaction, first-time-fix, parts-management, revisit, and overtime metrics.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role; field service experience is preferred.
• Experience repairing major appliances, including refrigeration and sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products.
• Experience using hand tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product or system issues.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to obtain the appropriate EPA certification.
• Ability to perform field-service work involving continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
