Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration

Location: hirify.global Supercenter, Manchester, Missouri, United States; onsite facility work required.

Hourly wage: $29.00–$58.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour and bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment and facility assets.
• Use hand tools, power tools, digital tools, and testing equipment to complete service work.
• Receive and document repair work orders through the work order management system.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and diagnose issues by inspecting, operating, and testing equipment.
• Complete required safety training and follow OSHA, EPA, and hirify.global Refrigeration HVAC policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, use ladders, and work frequently at heights.

Requirements

• At least two years of commercial HVAC/R mechanical maintenance or construction-related experience with large-scale rack refrigeration; alternatively, four years of relevant experience may qualify.
• Type I and Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/R or mechanical journeyman credentials may be required where applicable.
• Ability to meet commercial driving safety requirements, including restrictions on recent DUI/DWI/OUI convictions, moving violations, preventable accidents, and serious traffic violations.

Nice to have

• Completion of a two-year vocational or technical HVAC/R program.
• Mechanical license in the city or state where the job is located.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and office productivity software.
