Assistant General Manager (Fashion, Import, Jewelry, Regional, Wm.com, Returns)

Location: Onsite in Seymour, Indiana, United States

Salary: $116,000–$174,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and implement business plans for the assigned facility area to achieve production, quality, safety, and operational goals.
• Forecast staffing, workload, and performance requirements to meet business demand.
• Monitor expenses, asset utilization, budgets, and business reports.
• Maintain compliance with logistics, quality, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using independent judgment and appropriate consultation.
• Supervise managers, supervisors, and associates, including hiring, coaching, performance evaluation, training, and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or qualifying operations, distribution, logistics, or retail management experience.
• At least 2 years of senior management experience in an operations, distribution, or logistics environment, or 2 years as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager, or 4 years of senior management experience in operations, distribution, logistics, or retail.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers, supervisors, or associates.
• Experience managing workload and participating in facility-wide hiring and promotion decisions.
• Must work onsite at the Seymour, Indiana facility.
• Completion of all required trainings and assessments is required.

Nice to have

• Compliance, financial modeling and analysis, workforce issue management, modeling and forecasting.
• Budget preparation and execution, P&L accountability, and Walmart Logistics systems experience.
• Business, finance, logistics, management, or operations management degree.
