Production Lead (Packaging)

Location: Edwardsville, Illinois, United States; on-site production and warehouse work

Salary: $22–$27 per hour, plus applicable shift differential; eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Oversee production line leaders and support productive, safe, and quality-focused floor operations.
• Train, mentor, and develop line leads and assist with training line workers.
• Conduct hourly product inspections, monitor production rates, and verify quality and analytical data.
• Coordinate staffing, overtime, equipment needs, line setup, and production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
• Use the Warehouse Management System to manage orders, quantities, LPNs, reports, and production information.
• Serve as backup for the Production Supervisor and collaborate with quality, plant management, and other departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related warehouse production experience or training.
• Knowledge of WMS and ability to operate WMS handheld devices.
• Experience with production line setup, efficiency monitoring, quality standards, and reporting.
• Ability to lead and supervise large groups, communicate effectively, and work in a production environment with moving equipment and people.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as business needs require.
