Quality Control Supervisor (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Charleston, Tennessee, United States of America; onsite work in office, laboratory, and chemical manufacturing environments

Salary: $70,250–$103,026 annually, plus discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Lead daily Quality Control laboratory operations supporting chemical manufacturing.
• Supervise, train, and develop laboratory technicians while maintaining staffing coverage for 24/7 operations.
• Coordinate testing for production support, raw material approvals, investigations, customer complaints, projects, and supplier qualifications.
• Manage laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, analytical testing, and timely reporting of results.
• Support audits, certifications, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote safety and compliance with site environmental and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of quality experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience working within an ISO-certified quality system, including ISO 9001 requirements.
• Prior supervisory or management experience.
• Working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, analytical methods, and testing procedures.
• Ability to work safely onsite, wear required PPE, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform standing, walking, bending, climbing, and related facility duties.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of laboratory supervisory experience.
• ISO Auditor qualification.
• ISO 9001 training certification.
