Material Planner Scheduler III (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid position supporting the Huntsville, Alabama location; US citizenship required

What you will do

• Develop and manage advanced material requirements plans for complex production schedules and contract deliverables.
• Analyze demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory trends to support material availability and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Program Management to resolve shortages and maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Optimize inventory levels, reduce excess and obsolete inventory, and minimize waste.
• Lead material planning improvements using data analytics, MRP system capabilities, and industry best practices.
• Manage daily activities of direct reports and provide guidance to junior planners and procurement teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in material planning, supply chain management, or production planning, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry.
• Extensive experience with MRP/ERP systems such as Deltek CostPoint, SAP, or Oracle.
• Advanced knowledge of material planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• US citizenship is required.
