TL;DR
Planner III (Supply Chain/Manufacturing): Coordinating material planning, manufacturing orders, inventory, procurement, and delivery schedules for aerospace and security systems with an accent on ERP/MRP control, bill-of-materials accuracy, and production continuity. Focus on resolving complex material and scheduling issues, optimizing supply levels, improving planning processes, and mentoring junior planners.

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States; office or hybrid environment required

Salary: $82,039.23–$112,803.95 per year

What you will do

  • Review manufacturing bills of materials and maintain revision control in the ERP system.
  • Create and process sales orders, manufacturing orders, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders.
  • Allocate materials and optimize inventory levels to support production and delivery schedules.
  • Manage planned, released, and in-shop manufacturing orders and maintain supply chain schedules.
  • Identify and resolve complex material and scheduling issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Improve material planning processes and mentor junior planners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 4 years of related experience; 8 years may substitute for a degree.
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP and MRP systems.
  • Experience with engineering change processes, master production planning, supply chain management, logistics, and manufacturing drawings.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., stand for a significant portion of the shift, work at a computer, and work in a noisy manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

  • APICS or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Program management experience or a technical/engineering degree.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation as it applies to supplier management.
  • Aerospace and defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military experience.
