Operator-Seneca

Location: Seneca, Illinois, United States. Onsite terminal role requiring rotating 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability within approximately 30–45 minutes of the facility.

What you will do

• Load and unload products and maintain storage, terminal equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Inspect equipment, perform mechanical maintenance, record gauge and sample results, and maintain operational documentation.
• Apply refrigeration-system principles and follow environmental, health, and safety procedures.
• Respond to hazardous-material incidents involving anhydrous ammonia, including technician and incident commander duties.
• Support training, emergency response coordination, capital and maintenance projects, and operations at other company facilities when directed.
• Assume facility management responsibilities when the facility manager is absent.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of college, military or technical training, or related work experience.
• Ability to understand and follow operating procedures, use basic computer systems, and complete data entry and information retrieval.
• Refrigeration knowledge appropriate to the position and strong communication skills.
• English reading, writing, communication, and comprehension required.
• HAZMAT certification is required after employment.
• Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions, handle hazardous chemicals, climb approximately 80–100 feet, carry emergency equipment, and operate in a continuous shift environment.
