IT Business Analyst II - Offshore Teams/Legacy Systems

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA; hybrid work

Base salary: $73,300–$150,500 per year

What you will do

• Analyze business, operational, compliance, and regulatory requests to identify needs, risks, dependencies, application impacts, and solution options.
• Navigate enterprise and legacy applications, validate requirements, and assess downstream effects across integrated systems.
• Partner with Product Owners and IT Delivery Managers to maintain and prioritize the product backlog for PI Planning and sprint execution.
• Create user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, workflow diagrams, and SDLC documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA, architects, offshore teams, and other Business Analysts.
• Coordinate release readiness and support UAT, defect triage, production validation, and post-implementation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience working as part of an Agile team.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and requirements documentation.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex business problems, identify risks and dependencies, and work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to independently manage assignments, communicate status, and drive work to completion.

Nice to have

• Experience working with offshore teams.
• Experience with legacy systems.
• IIBA certification.
