What you will do
- Issue project-specific piping drawings.
- Review, control, and own 3D piping models.
- Perform pipe stress analysis and pipe support calculations.
- Prepare technical specifications as required.
- Coordinate with piping fabricators and insulation vendors.
- Support power plant construction and start-up activities, including occasional travel to supervise project and vendor progress.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree from a recognized university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Five or more years of piping engineering experience preferred.
- Experience with pipe stress analysis software; AUTOPIPE experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of ASME B31.1, ASME B16.5, AISC, and AWS standards.
- Experience using STAAD PRO for pipe support analysis and performing hand calculations for structural members, welds, base plates, anchor bolts, and spring hangers.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
