Production Engineer (CO2)

What you will do

• Provide engineering support for oil production and CO2/water injection systems across the SACROC field.
• Work with operations to resolve day-to-day production and field issues.
• Complete production engineering assignments of increasing scope and complexity.
• Support operational and new construction projects.
• Lead mechanical integrity projects, including piping, vessel, and tank inspections.
• Promote process safety management practices, including MOC and PSSR activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering; petroleum, chemical, or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in the oil and gas or pipeline industry.
• Knowledge of ESPs and high-pressure injection systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and iFix is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, computer, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, respond within 30 minutes during on-call duties, and be available for scheduled on-call weekends.

• Full-time onsite schedule with a 9/80 work arrangement.
• Work may take place indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including daylight and darkness.
• Availability may be required 24 hours a day Monday through Friday and on holidays that fall during scheduled on-call weekends.
• Work involves field vessels and piping systems containing H2S and hydrocarbon gases, as well as lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs or ladders.
