Senior Mechanical Engineer (Industrial)

What you will do

• Lead complex mechanical engineering projects from early programming through construction administration.
• Design turbine, reciprocating, and steam-based power generation systems, hydronic systems, gas compression and distribution systems, building mechanical systems, and industrial facilities.
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, engineering calculations, analyses, research, equipment selections, drawings, and specifications.
• Manage project schedules, quality, costs, client expectations, coordination, and constructability across disciplines.
• Supervise and develop mechanical engineering staff while supporting manpower planning and work scheduling.
• Contribute to proposals, marketing, business development, client relationships, and identification of new opportunities.

Requirements

• Ten or more years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited school.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Project management experience and knowledge of engineering theories, methodologies, project approaches, and system design.
• Experience with industrial power and process systems, PFDs, P&IDs, engineering design, and project documentation.
• Ability to work on-site in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
