Senior Supply Chain Specialist (Mining)

Location: Haile Gold Mine, South Carolina, United States; in-office role

What you will do

• Lead the Purchasing function and direct a team of Buyers.
• Source and purchase materials and services for the mine.
• Evaluate suppliers and negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
• Manage purchase orders, material forecasting, vendor applications, and supplier performance.
• Report on purchasing and supply chain KPIs, spend, savings, risks, and opportunities.
• Improve and standardize processes through automation and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of purchasing and supply chain experience, including leadership of these functions.
• Knowledge of purchasing, supply chain, materials management, and continuous improvement.
• Experience preparing and reviewing contracts, negotiating terms, and managing invoicing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a major mining company or similar operational environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
