Electrical Engineer-Battery Charger Systems

What you will do

• Design and develop battery and battery charger solutions for power plant equipment.
• Integrate battery systems and chargers with electrical equipment and existing plant infrastructure.
• Create technical documentation, design specifications, sizing calculation tools, product documentation, and FAT or site testing protocols.
• Support proposal and project implementation activities, testing, validation, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, quality, program management, vendors, and battery technology experts.
• Support supplier qualification, cost updates, and cost improvement programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of electrical design experience focused on battery systems and chargers.
• Advanced knowledge of ANSI, OSHA, NFPA70, and IEEE standards for battery and charger design, testing, and installation.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel internationally for short durations, up to 10%.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
