Critical Facilities Maintenance Technician (Data Center)

Location: PDX-01; onsite work involving regular monitoring and tours of the data center property

Hourly pay: $35.00–$45.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression, life-safety, temperature control, building management, and digital security systems.
• Perform and track preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance using electronic work-order systems.
• Inspect buildings, lighting, grounds, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and repair needs.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, lighting and fuse replacement, and plumbing fixture repairs.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment.
• Monitor building conditions, maintain equipment and supply inventories, and assist with material and equipment handling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience in facility maintenance.
• Working knowledge of electrical or mechanical critical-facility systems is beneficial.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week plus occasional overtime and weekend shifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders occasionally, and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
