Senior Facilities Technician (HVAC)

Location: West Sacramento, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $35.00–$45.00 per hour, plus bonus/incentive pay.

What you will do

• Perform facility maintenance in response to service requests and emergency calls.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, lighting, doors, flooring, drywall, painting, and other building systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on facilities equipment.
• Collaborate with the facilities department, project managers, and facility managers.

Requirements

• High school diploma and several years of relevant experience.
• HVAC certification, such as EPA Section 608 or HVAC Excellence, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair general building systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Nice to have

• Experience with building management and environmental monitoring systems.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints, technical schematics, and floor layouts.
