Senior Associate Director, Private Equity Fund Accounting Solutions

Salary: CAD 91,500–CAD 136,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead front-end analysis for complex NAV production work across fund types, with particular focus on private equity and private markets operating models.
• Apply fund accounting and NAV expertise across valuations, capital activity, waterfall calculations, and allocation mechanics.
• Assess feasibility, operating-model implications, data quality, readiness, downstream impacts, and regulatory considerations before delivery begins.
• Define and document business requirements, solution intent, use cases, process models, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate between business stakeholders and engineers while reviewing data, system configuration, system behaviour, and technical constraints.
• Support cross-team testing, adoption readiness, documentation, roadmap shaping, communications, training, and operational change.

Requirements

• Substantial experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements in financial services or asset servicing.
• At least 5 years of experience with alternative investment fund services and knowledge of private equity or private markets structures, accounting, processes, and life cycles.
• Demonstrable fund accounting and NAV knowledge.
• Experience translating requirements into solution intent and acceptance criteria, and producing process models, use cases, procedural guides, and scenarios.
• Strong analytical judgement and credibility with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Expert proficiency in Excel and Word.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Investran expertise.
• Experience with LemonEdge, Yardi, eFront, or Geneva.
• Deeper private markets knowledge, including NAV oversight, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
• Exposure to AI-assisted analysis and discovery tooling.
• Experience with platform implementation, configuration, or migration projects.
