Senior Business Analyst (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Approximate annual compensation: CAD 104,800–125,000.

What you will do

• Gather and prioritize business needs, write clear and testable user stories, and manage requirements through backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release cycles.
• Support and evolve a portfolio of internally developed applications used across hirify.global service lines.
• Review, triage, and investigate support tickets and production defects with business users, developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, defect triage discussions, backlog reviews, and sprint planning.
• Coordinate UAT plans and activities, prepare release notes, and address post-implementation issues.
• Contribute to change management, end-user training, KPI measurement, and user adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8–10 or more years of experience in business analysis, ideally supporting complex applications and multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work independently with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology, requirements gathering, user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, UAT, and release cycles.
• Ability to troubleshoot, recommend process improvements, take ownership, and present complex information clearly.
• Current authorization to work full-time in Canada is required.

Nice to have

• CBAP or an equivalent certification.
• Commercial real estate experience or background.
