Lead Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in Latin America with enough timezone overlap for daily collaboration with a U.S.-based team.

What you will do

• Own the knowledge plane, including project conventions, source indexing, and agent procedures.
• Build verification gates that inspect actual artifacts rather than trusting agent reports.
• Design least-privilege, short-lived agent credentials and attribution systems.
• Calibrate autonomy tiers to route changes based on risk and incident history.
• Engineer containment systems like circuit breakers and concurrency ceilings to prevent failure amplification.
• Manage the improvement ritual, including incident records and threshold-based rule creation.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering with deep CI/CD and platform experience.
• Must be based in Latin America with daily timezone overlap with U.S. teams.
• Strong security instincts regarding least privilege, credential scope, and blast radius.
• Hands-on experience driving coding agents on real-world projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to write clear documentation, conventions, and incident records.
