Senior Solutions Engineer (Cloudflare One SASE/SSE)

Location: Distributed within the United States, with available locations including Chicago, Austin, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Dallas. Estimated annual compensation varies by work location: $244,000–$336,000 for San Francisco, San Jose, and Bay Area Metro hires; $234,000–$321,000 for specified metropolitan and remote locations; and $163,240–$224,840 base salary plus $48,760–$67,160 target variable compensation for other listed remote locations.

What you will do

• Lead discovery and design hirify.global One architectures addressing customer security, connectivity, and business requirements.
• Guide opportunities through demonstrations, technical evaluations, proofs of value, success-criteria management, and technical close.
• Advise customers on Zero Trust capabilities including identity-aware access, secure web gateways, data protection, SaaS security, browser isolation, device posture, and secure connectivity.
• Design WAN transformation solutions connecting users, offices, data centers, and cloud environments.
• Develop customer strategies for AI adoption, Shadow AI, sensitive-data exposure, AI application access, MCP server controls, and agentic AI governance.
• Create reusable architectures, demonstrations, proof-of-value patterns, technical guidance, and automation while coaching peers and coordinating with Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, and customer teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Systems Engineering, technical sales, consulting, or enterprise architecture.
• Customer-facing experience designing, demonstrating, evaluating, or implementing Zero Trust solutions.
• Practical understanding of Zero Trust and SASE architectures across identity, endpoint, network, application, data, and SaaS security.
• Enterprise networking and WAN experience, including routing, subnetting, VPNs, SD-WAN, hybrid connectivity, cloud networking, or network transformation.
• Active professional use of AI tools and an understanding of AI platforms, AI-enabled threats, data exposure, and governance.
• Experience integrating security solutions with identity providers, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, public clouds, APIs, SIEM, or log-analytics platforms, together with strong presentation and technical evaluation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global One capabilities such as Access, Gateway, hirify.global One Client, Browser Isolation, CASB, DLP, Email Security, hirify.global Tunnel, or hirify.global WAN.
• Experience migrating from secure web gateways, VPN or ZTNA platforms, secure email gateways, MPLS, or SD-WAN solutions.
• Email Security experience involving Microsoft 365, Exchange, Google Workspace, SMTP, SPF, DKIM, or DMARC.
• Hands-on AI security or governance experience, including Shadow AI, generative-AI controls, MCP, agentic systems, or AI-related data-loss risks.
• Scripting, API, automation, partner-enablement, or relevant security, networking, cloud, or AI certifications.
