Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Network Security)

Location: USA, GA, Atlanta; hybrid Flex Work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

Salary: $152,000–$228,000 annual base salary for Atlanta; additional US locations offer $144,400–$258,000

What you will do

• Design and implement network security controls, patterns, and templates across AWS, GCP, private cloud, and enterprise environments.
• Automate continuous security monitoring and enforcement using Terraform, Go, Python, and related technologies.
• Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and advise teams on secure infrastructure and service design.
• Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with CIS, NIST, and FedRAMP.
• Operate production security infrastructure, including DDoS detection, WAF, firewall, and cloud-native controls.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in network security architecture, engineering, and design.
• Hands-on experience deploying network security controls across AWS and/or GCP, including cloud-native technologies such as AWS Network Firewall, AWS WAF, or GCP Cloud Armor.
• Experience with Python or Go and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Consul.
• Experience designing, implementing, or managing zero trust architectures or SASE solutions, including identity-aware access and secure remote access.
• Experience operating firewalls, WAF, DDoS protection, IPS/IDS tooling, and production network security systems, including on-call support.
• Ability to document complex architectures, support security standards, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience delivering network security initiatives in production, customer-facing environments.
• Experience using AI and agentic capabilities to improve engineering workflows and security delivery.
