Location: Remote, nationwide Texas
Salary: $82,000β$98,000 annually, depending on experience

A growing Houston-based civic technology, design, and collective action nonprofit developing human-centered social service programs and technology tools for service providers.
What you will do
- Lead data strategy, architecture, cross-source integration, infrastructure planning, governance, and data quality frameworks.
- Analyze complex multi-source program data and build automated validation, transformation, and reporting pipelines.
- Design publication-ready visualizations, geospatial analyses, and executive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or equivalent tools.
- Own the Salesforce product lifecycle from discovery and requirements through build, testing, launch, and iteration.
- Lead Salesforce architecture decisions, including custom objects and fields, validation rules, flows, and integrations.
- Support data-sharing initiatives, grant reporting, impact measurement, fundraising proposals, and mentoring for junior analysts and product team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, product management, or a closely related field.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least two of Python, R, SQL, or advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced experience with a data visualization platform and external-facing dashboards.
- Hands-on Salesforce administration experience and the ability to design complex CRM solutions.
- Experience owning product backlogs, delivering technology products or CRM features, and managing multiple complex projects.
- Experience with data governance, data quality standards, or data-sharing agreements, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification, ideally with Non-Profit Success Pack experience.
- Experience with Apex, SOQL, Salesforce Flow, Lightning Components, or geospatial tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Leaflet, or Python geospatial libraries.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools, large language models, or automated data pipelines in nonprofit or government settings.
- Experience with human-centered design, agile methodologies, disaster case management, public benefits data, or social determinants of health datasets.
- Spanish, Vietnamese, or other languages spoken by Houstonβs Gulf Coast communities.
