Product Leader (Developer Tools)

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

Compensation: CA$316,400–CA$452,000 plus equity in Canada; US$228,000–US$326,000 plus equity in the United States.

What you will do

• Own the full product lifecycle and lead a cross-functional product organization.
• Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and multi-team priorities based on customer and market opportunities.
• Drive product-market fit, customer outcomes, business results, and metrics beyond ARR growth.
• Develop rapid learning cycles through customer engagement, experimentation, and continuous validation.
• Build a healthy ecosystem across developers, partners, customers, and online communities.
• Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing product team while improving hiring processes.

Requirements

• Many years of hands-on product management experience across multiple product stages.
• Experience scaling products and working in fast-growth environments with limited structure and changing markets.
• Strong customer and user orientation, with experience validating needs before engineering work is complete.
• Ability to set goals and priorities, use OKRs, and improve return on invested engineering effort.
• Comfort working remotely across approximately eight time zones with strong written communication and information-sharing practices.
• Prior experience as a coding engineer or demonstrated success serving developer users.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer tools, SaaS, cloud services, or open-source freemium products.
• Experience engaging with and enabling large developer communities.
• Experience representing products to customers, partners, press, analysts, or at events.
