Lead Producer (Game Development)

Location: San Mateo, California, United States; onsite or hybrid work indicated.

Salary: $169,100–$250,280 per year, with potential bonus, equity awards, and participation in a 401(k) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.

What you will do

• Lead production across multiple content groups and disciplines, managing milestone quality, scope, and delivery from concept to completion.
• Create and maintain schedules, roadmaps, department updates, and objectives aligned with project and business goals.
• Identify and resolve development, project, personnel, risk, and scope issues, including feature creep and production bottlenecks.
• Oversee producer responsibilities, feature status tracking, production standards, communication, and stakeholder updates.
• Manage, mentor, and develop production staff while supporting staffing allocation and hiring efforts.
• Improve production operations, pipelines, processes, and long-term organizational strategy with studio and production leadership.

Requirements

• Seasoned senior production leadership experience in game development.
• Deep understanding of game development processes and production leadership.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, diplomacy, and people management skills.
• Experience managing multiple areas and crafts, external development strategies, schedules, risks, and project scope.
• Intermediate or advanced JIRA experience and a strong understanding of Agile processes adapted to game development.
• Ability to work in the San Mateo, California location in an onsite or hybrid arrangement.
