What you will do
- Implement new systems, infrastructure improvements, and maintenance activities with minimal oversight.
- Design and implement solutions for complex systems, networking, storage, virtualization, cloud, and security problems.
- Operate service desk activities, onboarding, vendor support, IT client support, and off-site client operations.
- Research technologies, identify infrastructure risks, and develop mitigation strategies with senior staff and project leadership.
- Support studio infrastructure quality, communicate progress and risks, and improve working practices.
- Mentor junior staff and guide team members in systems and network technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, IT operations, HPC, or DevOps in a high-availability environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Linux experience, including Rocky Linux and Ubuntu.
- Expertise in enterprise networking, VLANs, routing, VPNs, firewalls, virtualization, and configuration management.
- Experience with SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, SMB, NFS, render farms, and HPC platforms such as Deadline, Tractor, or OpenCue.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, Azure, IAM, Infrastructure as Code, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and security hardening.
- Proficiency managing Windows, macOS, and Linux workstation fleets, hardware, centralized deployment, and MDM tools.
