Contributor Experience Manager, Community (AI)

What you will do

• Create strategies to increase contributor participation and satisfaction across Reddit and the internal Outlier Community.
• Develop systems for routing questions, feedback, and disputes across community platforms and social channels.
• Organize virtual events, monitor community sentiment, and proactively address risks and concerns.
• Use contributor feedback, quantitative metrics, and insights to improve product and operational strategies.
• Lead multi-team initiatives, strengthen ownership, remove structural blockers, and coordinate with operations, support, communications, marketing, and legal.
• Draft clear, consistent communications across the contributor journey.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, finance, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, or project management.
• Experience managing large-scale communities with thousands of members on platforms such as Slack, Discord, or Discourse.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, including the ability to make complex information clear and accessible.
• Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze metrics and adapt strategies.
• Experience managing at least one direct report and holding them accountable for outcomes.

Nice to have

• Ability to use SQL and/or Claude Code to derive insights from data, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong interest in building positive and engaging contributor experiences.
