Senior Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Wilson, North Carolina, United States; onsite at the Wilson plant

What you will do

• Develop, improve, and maintain tire mixing, processing, manufacturing, and development processes.
• Set and maintain specifications and standards for compounds, components, assembled products, curing processes, and uniformity analyses.
• Analyze production data, laboratory results, production methods, and non-conforming materials to improve quality, productivity, and cost.
• Design and conduct experiments and production trials for continuous improvement, new products, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with plant teams, technical centers, corporate engineering, and management to resolve technical issues and implement countermeasures.
• Use statistical methods to identify key process variables, solve complex problems, and present technical recommendations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor of Science or technical degree in engineering, mathematics, science, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of process engineering and manufacturing practices.
• Ability to analyze production and laboratory data and conduct process experiments.
• Must complete U.S. Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify employment.
