Automotive Senior Technician

Location: 974540 Airpark; onsite automotive service role in the United States.

Salary: $20.60–$34.60 per hour through a performance-based flat-rate compensation model.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Perform general automotive maintenance and tire repairs to specification.
• Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to customers without mechanical backgrounds.
• Assist with and train technicians and mechanics on technical activities.
• Complete paid formal training and obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three A1–A8 areas within the first two years.

Requirements

• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skills in brake and hydraulic systems, steering and suspension, alignments, general automotive maintenance, and tire repair.
• Current federal, state, and local certifications or licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Employment requires completion of Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.

Nice to have

• Three years of automotive repair experience, demonstrated skills through third-party assessments or certifications, or completion of a vocational-technical school program.
• ASE certification in at least one A1–A8 area; L1 certification is acceptable.
