What you will do
- Develop and implement policies and practices to identify and mitigate hazardous workplace conditions.
- Identify workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, work practices, and working conditions.
- Investigate accidents and collaborate with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to prevent recurrence.
- Provide safety protocol advice and training, and conduct compliance audits.
- Maintain and analyze records of workplace injuries, illnesses, and absences for regulatory reporting and risk identification.
- Supervise support roles, organize workflows, provide guidance, and manage performance and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to communicate with management and collaborate with engineers and regulatory authorities.
- Employment eligibility in the United States is required; Form I-9 verification must be completed at the start of employment.
- Temporary work authorization or the need for visa sponsorship may disqualify candidates.
