Relationship Banker (Banking) - 13th Ave, Brooklyn, NY

Location: Brooklyn, New York, United States; onsite branch role with Sunday hours from 9 AM to 1 PM and possible support for nearby branches.

Annual base pay: $38,250–$61,000 USD

What you will do

• Build and maintain customer relationships by understanding financial needs and providing tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions.
• Promote and cross-sell banking products and services to existing and prospective customers while achieving branch sales targets.
• Prospect for new clients through referrals, networking, outbound calling, portfolio management, and community engagement.
• Deliver personalized service, resolve customer concerns, and strengthen loyalty across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Educate customers on digital banking and self-service tools.
• Follow risk, fraud prevention, regulatory, and internal policy requirements while collaborating with branch colleagues.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
• At least 3 years of experience selling products or services in an incentive-based environment, or qualifying experience in retail banking, financial services, consultative relationship sales, or hirify.global.
• At least 12 months of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Proven relationship-building, sales, cross-selling, communication, consultative, and customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency, basic math skills, and the ability to use digital tools, follow procedures, identify risks, and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship. Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings, is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
