Emergency Preparedness Manager (Nuclear)

Salary: $112,200–$159,400 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities between onsite and offsite organizations.
• Ensure emergency plan requirements and response procedures are implemented effectively.
• Monitor and improve the performance of emergency planning and emergency response organizations.
• Maintain emergency plans, facilities, equipment, and communication systems.
• Plan and coordinate program activities, training, scheduling, and personnel development.
• Support fleet operations and contribute to the fleet excellence plan.

Requirements

• At least five years of nuclear power plant or equivalent emergency preparedness experience.
• Familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulations and emergency preparedness guidelines.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness programs, power plant operations, and training methods.
• Experience or familiarity with dose projection models and specialized technical equipment.
• An associate degree or higher in a technical discipline is desired; equivalent experience may substitute.
• Ability to work onsite in Monticello, Minnesota.
