Service Manager (Bicycle Service)

What you will do

• Lead Service Center operations, including workflow, mechanic staffing, service costs, and performance KPIs.
• Act as the primary service advisor and manage communication between the Service Department and customers.
• Write more than 50% of the shop’s work orders and recommend appropriate services to customers.
• Train, motivate, and develop service employees while maintaining Trek’s hospitality standards.
• Review service reports, identify efficiencies, and anticipate department needs.
• Ensure bikes are correctly built and delivered to the sales floor and customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of bicycle service center experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to motivate colleagues and develop future leaders.
• Positive, hands-on attitude and commitment to delivering a strong customer experience.
• Willingness to attend Trek Service classes in Waterloo, Wisconsin, and stay current with industry trends.
