Injection Operator (PET/HDPE)

Location: Louisville - Jeffersonville, IN, United States; onsite production role. Requires rotating 12-hour day or night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.

What you will do

• Prepare, set up, start, and operate PET and HDPE injection equipment and auxiliary systems.
• Perform approved minor equipment adjustments and troubleshoot production issues with the maintenance team.
• Complete injection, destruction, inspection, and quality documentation accurately.
• Perform visual and mechanical quality checks, identify defects, and report quality issues immediately.
• Handle and distinguish Vpet, Rpet, and HDPE resins, including identifying material suitable for grinding and reintroduction.
• Maintain safe, clean production areas and provide relief coverage across multiple manufacturing areas.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in manufacturing or a related field and two years of experience in the position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Ability to understand production line flow, manufacturing processes, and systems such as Shotscope, Electric80, and Ignition.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule, with regular and predictable attendance.
• Ability to follow plant safety rules, use required personal protective equipment, and communicate production issues clearly.
