Senior Mold Maker (Injection Molding)

What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance, insert changes, changeovers, and occasional repairs on injection molding tools.
• Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance and insert changes.
• Identify tooling deficiencies and escalate them to the Tooling Lead.
• Participate in root-cause analysis of tooling breakage and damage and assess corrective actions.
• Lead the creation, organization, and revision control of tooling procedures and work instructions.
• Support tool room organization and production operations while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• High school education or GED.
• 8+ years of related experience in a tooling or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with injection mold maintenance and repairs.
• Solid understanding of the injection molding process.
• Experience with hot manifold systems, such as Mold-Masters or Manner.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, interpersonal, and independent-work skills in a fast-paced environment.
